The DPA Microphones 4099 CORE Instrument Mic for classic touring includes the Loud SPL 4099 variation. This has a dynamic range of 108dB and can withstand up to 142dB before clipping. The CORE, by DPA, is a powerful technology that minimises distortion. In the unlikely event of spill, there are no unnatural, harsh frequencies to deal with. The microphone's capsule produces a very natural sound, both on and off axis
