The DPA Microphones 4061 Stereo Microphone Kit is a cost-effective and flexible stereo recording solution aimed at project studios and for discreet mic setup on stage. It contains a complete stereo pair; two handpicked omnidirectional condenser microphones, selected on sensitivity within ±1.5 dB.
\n\n\n\nIt combines two 4060 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone, Loud SPL, with a variety of mounting accessories for use with high SPL sources.
\n\n\n\n4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone, Loud SPL
\n\n\n\nThe DPA CORE 4061 Omni microphone is acoustically identical to the 4060 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone, Normal SPL, but its sensitivity is adjusted to accommodate higher sound pressure levels (SPLs).
\n\n\n\nThe 4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone, Loud SPL can handle sound pressure levels of up to 144dB peak before clipping. It is one of the best miniatures for use on very loud sound sources.
\n\n\n\nIn comparison, the 4061 is about 10dB less sensitive than the 4060 and therefore works well when used for hidden applications, for example mounted on the head or forehead of a Theatre performer. In this placement, the sound pressure level is about 10dB louder than what you encounter with chest placement (lapel microphone).
