DPA 4060 CORE Stereo Microphone Kit
The DPA 4060 CORE Stereo Microphone Kit is a cost-effective and flexible stereo recording solution aimed at project studios and for discreet mic setup on stage. It contains a complete stereo pair; two handpicked omnidirectional condenser microphones, selected on sensitivity within ±1.5 dB.
4060 CORE Omnidirectional Microphone, Normal SPL
The DPA CORE 4060 Omni microphone is small in size, but mighty in flexibility. The 4060's miniature size enables an exceptionally accurate omnidirectional pattern. You therefore, do not need to aim it directly at the sound source to achieve quality pickup. The omnidirectional pattern also makes it less sensitive to handling noise, as well as pop and wind noise. This microphone handles sound pressure levels of up to 134dB before clipping occurs.
Diversity in Applications
The DPA 4060 microphone allows for a diverse range of applications. Originally designed for use with wireless systems in theatres, it is also now one of the most loved microphones for film and television applications. Ideal for capturing speech in all of its nuances, it is also suitable for close-miking a wide range of instruments. For applications where the sound source is more remote or dampened and you need to have a good balance of signal to noise ratio, the 4060 is the perfect solution.
